Lady Loki

It had been months since Loki and Thor had perished in battle with one another and Lady Sif was finally healing. She had too for the sake of Asgard. Word had spread to the nine realms that the mighty lightning God had died and rumours had come that enemies were planning an attack.

Sif was looking for magical items around Loki’s secret hideout that could potentially help them in defence. That was when she spotted his infamous horned helmet. She picked it up and scoffed at its ostentatiousness.

“Oh Loki you always had a flair for dramatic.” She said as she turned it over in her hands. That was when she spotted something inscribed within. She peered closer to read it.

“Whoever wears this helmet, be they worthy, shall possess the power of Loki.” She read aloud.

“Well let’s see if I’m worthy of an evil trickster God.” She joked as she put the helmet on. However when she did a blinding light filled the room for few seconds. When the light diminished Sif had been changed.

Gone was her warrior garb, now replaced with a green figure hugging corset, half skirt, black boots and a flowing fur cape. A pointed staff had materialized in her hand and she somehow knew exactly what it was.

“Ah the staff of destruction, you will be most useful in the battles to come. Wait how do I know what this is?” She said shocked at her new found knowledge. The staff wasn’t the only new piece of information to arrive in her head.

Complex spells, curses and incantations were immediately known to her. She tested a simple illusion spell and was delighted to find she could do it. It was somewhat intoxicating.

“With these powers I can protect Asgard from any force stupid enough to challenge us… or me.” She said with a grin that betrayed the growing feelings inside her. Her confidence had skyrocketed while her concern for others was plummeting.

“Of course Odin will be suspicious of my newfound power and will probably have me not use them or worse give them up that stupid old fool. If I was in charge, the nine realms would bow to our obvious superiority. In fact I would conquer them all to ensure obedience.” She said while looking at her reflection in the mirror.

She loved the way she now looked. Her regal attire suited her new station in life while her cruel gorgeous face would ensure that people knew not to mess with her or suffer her wraith.

“Loki had the right idea all along. In order to protect the universe first you must dominate it. The more I say it the more it sounds like it would be a good idea for a leadership change here. It would be for the good of Asgard but more importantly the good of me. Henceforth Lady Sif is dead, she was weak whereas I am strong, she was good whereas I am feeling deliciously bad. I am Lady Loki Goddess of mischief, and soon to be queen of all.” She said with an evil grin as she left the lair to enact some changes.
